Never forget that when purchasing a garage door or having a garage door service technician in your home find out who they are. Too many times listings on line or even in the Yellow Pages are not accurate in many cases the address don't even exist. A warranty for any work is only as good as the business itself. If you have concerns or a problem with any one's work it can be almost impossible to get it resolved if you can't find them.
Just the other day we had a call from a client who told us that the other company was going to offer him a life-time warranty. I had to ask him "How long have they been in business?"
He didn't know.
Then I asked him "Have you been down to his place of business?"
He said "No."
Well upon further review. The place listed as there business was false. They had several phone numbers listed online and in the local listings. All went to someplace out of state. They then tried to hire local contractors to do the work after they had a lead. It's easy to make up a warranty if there is no backing it up.
As a local family business we have to address our clients needs, we simply don't have a choice, as we are not going anywhere. Keep that in mind if you need any service work done.
